Dr. di Bartolomeo is a licensed psychologist specializing in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) as well as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). She has been trained by the Center for Mindful Self-Compassion as a self-compassion focused therapist. She has a special interest in culturally responsive evidence-based therapies that integrate contextual and identity factors into treatment. She has experience working in the LGBTQIA+ community.

We are a group of knowledgeable, compassionate and experienced clinicians. We successfully treat children and adults with Body Focused Repetitive Behaviors (BFRB) including hair pulling and skin picking. We develop an individualized, evidenced-based plan using Comprehensive Behavioral Therapy (ComB), Habit Reversal Training (HRT) and Mindfulness Based CBT. In addition, we treat all Anxiety Disorders and all manifestations of OCD. Treatment can be delivered in-office or via teletherapy.

I’m a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) with almost a decade of experience in the mental health field. My experience includes community mental health, school social work, homeless services, and private practice. I specialize in working with children and teens, young adults, college students, and women living with OCD, anxiety, body focused repetitive behaviors (hair pulling and skin picking), trauma, and perinatal mood and anxiety disorders (postpartum depression, OCD, and anxiety). I am an active member of the International OCD Foundation and Postpartum Support International. Therapy sessions are tailored to each individual's needs using evidenced-based treatments that are most effective for your concerns. For hair pulling and skin picking disorders we will use the Comprehensive Behavioral Model (ComB) and ACT
