sobre el grupo de apoyo

The BFRB (Body-Focused Repetitive Behaviors) Men’s Online Support Group is a free, welcoming space for male-identifying adults with trichotillomania, dermatillomania, and other BFRBs to give and receive support. This peer-led group is facilitated by men who also have BFRBs. While the group is designed for male-identifying individuals, those from other gender identities, such as non-binary individuals, are welcome if they feel the group will benefit them.

Our goal is to provide a safe, supportive environment where participants can share experiences, develop coping skills, and build a sense of community. We recognize that discussing BFRBs can be difficult, and we aim to foster growth and healing through empathy and understanding. Each session includes check-ins, shared experiences, and support—both for challenges unique to male-identifying individuals and general BFRB-related issues. Participation is encouraged but never required.
