biography

My name is Dr. Chrissy Cammarata, and I am a licensed and board-certified psychologist. I specialize in therapy and assessment of OCD, BFRB’s, and anxiety related concerns across the lifespan. I enjoy working with families and individuals. I often work with parents and caregivers learn to more successfully support their children who are struggling with BFRB's Before transitioning to private practice, I held the academic appointment of Clinical Associate Professor of Pediatrics and worked as a pediatric psychologist and clinical director of the Youth Mood and Anxiety Program at Nemours Children’s Hospital working with families and kids and young adults I grew up in Michigan and graduated with my PhD in Clinical Psychology from Central Michigan University (Fire up Chips!). I am a member of the American Psychological Association (APA), Academy of Eating Disorders (AED), Anxiety and Depression Association of America, (ADAA), International OCD Foundation (IOCDF) and in addition to completing a fellowship at University of Florida's Center for OCD and Anxiety Related Disorders (Go Gators!), I completed additional training through IOCDF's Behavior Therapy Training Institute (BTTI).
