**Please note that all sessions are provided via telehealth at this time** Christine DeMaio, Ph.D. has extensive experience treating individuals with body-focused repetitive behavior disorders including hair pulling, Cheek Biting, and skin picking. Her compassionate, validating stance is considered one of her "super-powers" by clients that enables them to effect the changes they would like to make in their lives. Dr. DeMaio has extensive training in empirically-supported treatments with particular emphasis on cognitive behavioral therapies (CBT) and mindfulness-based approaches. These approaches include: Behavioral Activation, Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) (EX/RP), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), and Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT).
