I use cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) with an emphasis on the Comprehensive Behavioral (ComB) approach for the treatment of BFRBs like hair pulling and skin picking. I am a 2012 graduate of the TLC Foundation's Professional Training Institute, which focuses on the ComB treatment model. During treatment, I help people identify the unique factors that define their BFRB patterns and then, together, we create a comprehensive plan with specific strategies to directly target those factors and patterns. I also specialize in the treatment of anxiety disorders such as OCD, perfectionism, panic disorder, agoraphobia, social phobia, specific phobias, and body dysmorphic disorder. During the COVID-19 pandemic, I am providing secure online teletherapy sessions as an alternative to in person therapy sessions.
