Medical and therapeutic providers and self-care providers who work with individuals experiencing body-focused repetitive behaviors are invited to apply to be listed on TLC's online referral directories.

Who is eligible?

Online Referral Directory Eligibility Criteria

‍

  1. Medical and therapeutic treatment providers must provide proof of current licensure and credentialing that can be verified.
  2. Treated a minimum of 5 BFRB patients post licensure.
  3. Completed or are in the process of completing TLC's Virtual Training program.
  4. Participated in training for evidence-based BFRB treatment modalities, including ACT, CBT, ComB, DBT, HRT, and/or pharmacology (for MDs).

Medical and Therapeutic Providers

Listings include dermatologists, gastroenterologists, internal medicine specialists, licensed marriage and family therapists, mental health counselors, podiatrists, primary care providers, psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers.

Self-Care Providers

Listings include cosmetologists, estheticians, hair replacement specialists, permanent make up services, and salons.

Online Referral Directory Details

Directory Listing Fees

Cost of directory listing is based on type of listing and the number of states the profile is listed in. Providers may only be listed in states for which they hold current licensure.

Medical and Therapeutic Providers

$150 billed yearly for providers listing in a single state, plus $35 per additional state.

Self-Care Providers

$90 billed yearly for a single state, plus $35 per additional state.

Support Groups

Peer-led support groups that are no cost to attend may apply to be listed on TLC's Support Group Online Directory for free. Please complete and submit the application noted above.

How to Join

  1. Create an account by signing up to be listed on the Medical and Therapeutic, Self-Care, or Support Group online referral directories.

  2. Fill out the specific application that pertains to you, including uploading proof of licensure (if applicable).

  3. Your application is then reviewed by our online referral directory listing approval committee. The application review process takes approximately 3 weeks.

  4. Once approved, you will receive an email confirmation and be directed to pay your listing fee.
    ‍
  5. Once paid, your directory listing will go live on the website!
    ‍
