Marla W. Deibler, PsyD, ABPP

Board-Certified in Behavioral and Cognitive Psychology, Marla W. Deibler, PsyD, ABPP is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist and the Founder and CEO of The Center for Emotional Health of Greater Philadelphia (CEH). With over 25 years of experience, Dr. Deibler is a nationally recognized expert in anxiety disorders, obsessive-compulsive and related disorders, and tic disorders. She is an author of The BFRB Recovery Workbook: A Step-By-Step Guide to Effective Recovery from Hair Pulling, Skin Picking, Nail Biting, and Other Body-Focused Repetitive Behaviors.

Dr. Deibler is a faculty member of the Behavior Therapy Training Institute (BTTI) of the International OCD Foundation. She serves as member of the Board of Directors of OCD NJ, the NJ affiliate of the International OCD Foundation, as Consultant with the New Jersey Center for Tourette Syndrome and Associated Disorders, Visiting Clinical Supervisor at the Rutgers University Psychological Services Clinic, and as a member of the Executive Council for the Association for Contextual Behavioral Sciences OCD Special Interest Group.

Dr. Deibler holds a doctorate in clinical psychology with a concentration in health/neuropsychology and a postdoctoral master of science degree in clinical psychopharmacology. Her formative experiences include both scientific research, as a three-year Intramural Research Training Award Fellow at the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) as well as clinical intervention at the Children’s National Medical Center, Kennedy Krieger Institute at Johns Hopkins University Medical Center, Behavior Therapy Center of Greater Washington, and Temple University Hospital. Dr. Deibler began her career in both academic and clinical roles as Assistant Professor at Temple University Schools of Medicine, Dentistry, and Allied Health. She has served as a Scientific Advisory Board member of the TLC Foundation for Body-Focused Repetitive Behaviors and as a Faculty member of TLC’s Professional Training Institute (PTI).

Dr. Deibler holds licenses to practice psychology in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Virginia. She holds the Authority to Practice Interjurisdictional Telepsychology (APIT; PsyPact) in numerous states across the country.
