Danielle identifies as a recovering skin picker and therefore understands BFRBs from the "inside out." She is compassionate, and passionate about helping others to not just reduce compulsive behaviors, but to also address the attached shame and stigma. She is skilled at helping to educate families and other professionals about BFRB's. Danielle offers comprehensive cognitive behavioral and mindfulness-based impulse reduction methods to treat BFRBs in adolescents and adults. She has been an active member of the TLC Foundation since 2006. She also specializes in helping to heal trauma through a powerful modality called Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), as well as helping Highly Sensitive People (HSPs) to thrive.
