Dr. Michelle Kozey-Hayes is a Registered Psychologist (#2242) with the BC College of Psychologists. She has extensive assessment expertise with children, youth, and families, and as a member of multi-disciplinary care teams. She has a broad range of training in many well-known consultation and counselling approaches, including cognitive-behavioural, behavioural, attachment, and family-systems, however,flexibly matches a range of therapeutic approaches to the needs and preferences of individual clients and families. Her primary consultation and counselling services relate to: (1) Concurrent mental health and school problems, (2) ADHD, Executive Functions, and Self-Regulation, (3) Selective Mutism & Anxiety, (4) Impulse control challenges (including hair-pulling, skin-picking, nail-biting), and (5) Toilet-Training, Bed-Wetting and Soiling (including Enuresis and Encopresis). For treatment of Body-Focused Repetitive Behaviours, she uses theComprehensive Model for the Behavioural Treatment of BFRB?s, collaboratively identifying creative ways for children to manage their BF urges, and parent-child relational supports.
