My therapy practice is focused mainly on obsessive compulsive disorders (approximately 60%) including BFRBs. In my work with OCD, I utilize cognitive behavioral approaches including HRT, ERP, IBA, and ACT. My other areas of focus include ADHD and eating disorders (binge eating and obesity in particular). I also work with other presenting concerns, such as traumatic stress and anxiety disorders. Outside of the therapy component of my practice, I also do family systems work, psychometric assessments, research, consulting, and teaching. I have worked in a range of settings including post-secondary institutions, the justice system, and in community mental health. I currently work exclusively in private practice, and have availability to meet on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. I have evening availability on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
I work with clients of all genders and sexual orientations. In addition to my training as a psychologist, I also do research in the areas of family systems, gender studies, and disability studies. My office is accessible for individuals who make use of mobility aids.
