I have been in the mental health field for 10 years and 7 years providing therapy services. I am a California Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) and a doctoral student. I completed my training and clinical experience in a variety of settings including children’s outpatient psychiatry clinics, intensive outpatient (IOP) treatment centers and private practice settings with a focus on comprehensive Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) for adults and teens. I have additional training in evidenced-based approaches such as DBT and play therapy. I am a graduate of the TLC's Virtual Training program with Body-Focused-Repetitive Behaviors (BFRBs). I work with clients ages 7 years-old to adulthood. I help clients learn to balance change and acceptance in their everyday lives. I guide clients in building mindfulness skills, learn how to regulate emotions, tolerate distress, communicate effectively, and ultimately live the life they want for themselves.
