TLC Talks: Trich After "Life & Beth"

This special TLC Talks: Trich After "Life & Beth" is hosted by TLC’s Scientific Advisory Board Co-Chairs, Dr. John Piacentini and Dr. Suzanne Mouton-Odum, with Jen Monteleone, former TLC Interim Executive Director, for a conversation about trichotillomania, causes, treatments, and hope.

Panelists shared their reflections on the Hulu series "Life & Beth" written, directed, executive produced, and starring Amy Schumer. "Life & Beth" Episode 9 connects deeply to the body-focused repetitive behavior (hair pulling, skin picking, nail biting, cheek biting, and other related behaviors) community, and we are incredibly appreciative to be represented in the media with accuracy and respect.

We hope this is the starting point to grow greater awareness and understanding for the 1-in- 20 individuals experiencing a body-focused repetitive behavior, their family members, and loved ones.
